085: Ain't No Mountain High Enough

September 23rd, 2021

It’s been a minute, huh? On this episode of Gamer Friends, we’re “Logging On” with an absolute truckload of releases, including Humankind, Quake, Myst, Life is Strange: True Colors, Splitgate 1.0, SkateBIRD, and Deathloop to name about half. We’re also discussing the latest Activision Blizzard news, the “conclusion” of the Apple vs. Epic lawsuit, Death Stranding 2, Gamescom 2021, and the recent Playstation Showcase. Spoiler alert: we are extremely excited about the MGU’s expansion with Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine.

“These Past Several Weeks in Nerdom,” we’re catching up on several episodes of What If…?, the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer, Twisted Metal, The Matrix, and Star Wars Visions.

Finally, we’ve played quite a few games! On “The Homescreen,” we spent time with Watch Dogs and Watch Dogs Legion, Rider’s Republic, Twelve Minutes, Destiny 2, Ghost of Tsushima, and Civilization 6.

Thank you so much for listening! As always, we really appreciate the support. Make sure to give us a rating and review, follow us on Twitter, Discord, or Instagram, support us on Patreon, and tell your gamer friends about the show! We’ll catch you back here soon.
