058: At Least One Extravaganza Per Year

May 21st, 2020

We took a break, but now we’re back! We promise we’ll tell you about it next time. “Logging On,” we’re discussing Gears Tactics, Streets of Rage 4, Wasteland 3, Unreal Engine 5, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, The Last of Us II, Ghost of Tsushima, Jedi: Fallen Order, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, the 2020 Toyko Game Show, Paper Mario: The Origami King, Twitch’s “Safety Advisory Council,” Valorant, Disco Elysium, Fortnite, and the dozens of replacement events in lieu of E3 2020.

“These Past Two Weeks in Nerdom,” everything is still delayed, but we’ve been watching a lot of Dan Harmon stuff (we know he’s problematic, we know) like Community, Rick and Morty, and Solar Opposites (we know this isn’t his show, we know).

Finally, on “The Homescreen,” Big Nkrumah eats crow on Destiny 2, The Division 2, and looter shooters in general and is close to completing Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. AudioNerd is playing Untitled Goose Game and Crazy Taxi, with some Animal Crossing and Apex Legends peppered in for good measure.

It’s a packed episode! Thanks for bearing with us. As always, we really appreciate the support. Make sure to give us a rating and review, follow us on Instagram, Twitter, or Discord, support us on Patreon, and tell your gamer friends about the show! We’ll catch you back here in two weeks.
