Happy quarantine! Please keep yourself, your loved ones, and random strangers safe by staying inside and listening to your Gamer Friends. “Logging On,” DOOM Eternal, Animal Crossing, Call of Duty: Warzone, Half-Life: Alyx, and Bleeding Edge have all launched, the console wars are brewing again, all sports have become e-sports, and you should probably stop shopping at Gamestop.
“These Past Two Weeks in Nerdom,” everything has been delayed because of the pandemic (literally everything), but there’s plenty of Star Wars: The Clone Wars to catch up on in the meantime. There’s also some talk of Lego Mario, and Marvel’s totally inept attempt to bring nonbinary representation into their superhero roster.
Finally, on “The Homescreen,” your hosts have put together some suggestions for gaming while sheltered-in-place, including board games and mobile games! As always, we’d love to hear from you what’s keeping you grounded as we save the world through social distancing.
